Particularly striking is the visible tilt and twist of the tower spire, caused by long-term exposure to wind and weather.
A little anecdote:
It is said that the leaning tower of the Lutheran Parish Church will only straighten again when a student leaves the university a virgin.

2. Kaiser Wilhelm Tower
A little anecdote:
According to a legend among Marburg students of various faculties, whoever climbs the tower before passing the Physikum (medical students), preliminary diploma or other intermediate exams will never pass that exam.
3. Lahn-Dill Highlands Trail
Via the old wine route past the old sandstone quarry Dammelsberg you will finally reach the historic university city of Marburg, the end point of the tour.
