Family vacation in Marburg – anything but boredom

Up the Grimm-Dich trail full of surprises to the castle and later to the fine sandy Lahn beach – this could be a perfect holiday day in Marburg. Parents and kids also have great fun in the climbing forest or on an exciting city rally.

Those who dream of an active holiday close to nature will look forward to eventful hikes through the Burgwald and the Lahn-Dill mountain nature park. On the 674-meter-high Sackpfeife, a playground, a bungee trampoline, bumper cars, and a summer toboggan run promise carefree holiday fun.

It's wonderful to pedal along the Lahn. On the water, you can enjoy the idyllic Lahn valley in a pedal or rowboat, on a canoe tour, or with a SUP board.

A family holiday in Marburg is also the perfect opportunity to get to know Hesse! Be impressed by the Frankfurt skyline or discover the Bergpark in Kassel. In the nearby Goethe city of Wetzlar, a stroll through the romantic old town and a visit to the cathedral should not be missed.
