Chamber music series featuring works from all epochs of music history.

Internationally recognized artists as well as talented young musicians present a varied program in a series of six to nine concerts per season.

The venue is usually the Fürstensaal of the Marburg Landgrave Castle, considered one of the most beautiful and largest Gothic halls in Germany. Depending on the program and cooperation partners, other venues in Marburg are also used: the church of St. John the Evangelist, also known as the "Kugelkirche", the Lutheran parish church of St. Mary, and the Hessian State Archive Marburg.

The organizer of the concert series is the non-profit association "Marburger Musikfreunde".
